The
Application of Hypnotic Techniques for Natural Wellbeing

The word “HYPNOSIS” usually sounds “magic”, it recalls
something mysterious… but in fact it refers to something really
NATURAL. The reason is how this was is used, or ab-used,
especially these days, by media and by the deviating turning into show
of some hypnotic phenomena.
Did it never happen to you that you got into your car, or on the train,
or that you walked towards a certain destination, but YOU WERE SO
CONCENTRATED on your thoughts that you realized you had already
arrived, without remembering your trip?
The hypnotic experience is also that particular state of conscience
we experiment everyday, when we are very much concentrated, when our
attention is focused on an idea...
The word “hypnosis” is often associated to “sleep” (its Greek
etymology, “hypnos”, means sleep, and unconsciously suggests us this
meaning): as a matter of fact the hypnotic trance is a state of
mind where on the contrary some brain areas are extremely awake and
active …if the eyes are often closed (but not always closed!)
should not mislead us.
The history of hypnosis is ancient: from time immemorial man
experimented and evoked states of consciousness different from those
normally lived every day. Man used different words to refer to the
same phenomenon: someone talked about it among the ancient Egyptians,
the Greeks, someone referred to it talking about Jesus Christ,
somebody found traces of it in the shamanic rituals, in eastern
cultures, then Mesmer, Braid, Freud and Jung, up to Erickson, who
largely contributed to theorize the scientific basis of Hypnosis which
we, inhabitants of the Third Millennium, so much appreciate.
The hypnotic phenomenon is above all COMMUNICATION: thanks to
the hypnotic trance, or better self-hypnotic trance, according to the
different points of view, man goes very deeply inside himself, gets in
contact with his true self, discovers again his most natural and
intuitive part and gets a connection with it, gets conscious of his
real needs. In this extraordinary communicating process a unique
relationship is created, there is a strong connection between the
individual and the professional, based upon respect, responsibility
and empathy.
Just like in Nature nothing happens without its necessary conditions,
in hypnotic experiences nothing happens except true and authentic,
natural and instinctive, voluntary and spontaneous communication.
The Hypnotic Techniques for Natural Wellbeing are based upon
exercises for deep relaxation, self-hypnosis training, guided
visualization, recovery of useful respiratory physiology, application
of researches on brain rhythm and of quantistic theories.
The hypnotic experience substantially means FREEDOM as it gives
us the possibility to recollect ourselves in our body-mind unit, to
restore the necessary balance between instinct and rationality.
